Simple breakfasts are always good. This right here are some simple and humble rice rotis[Also known as akki roti, but no added flavor or savory notes here] grated coconut with good old white sugar, grapes and maple syrup. Simple, but kind of a treat too.
Delicious, simple and comforting easy rice flatbreads that are done within 15 minutes. Perfect for gluten free and vegan diets.
How to make rice roti –
250gm Rice Flour
180 ml very Hot boiled water [Adjust as needed]
3/4 tsp Salt
Make smooth dough with the rice flour, hot water and salt.
Divide them into small balls, flatten them into rotis[use parchment paper to avoid sticking], cook them in a hot pan with ghee.

Ingredients
- 250 gm Rice Flour
- 180 ml very Hot boiled water [Adjust as needed]
- 3/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Make smooth dough with the rice flour, hot water and salt.
- Divide them into small balls, flatten them into rotis [use parchment paper to avoid sticking]
- Cook them in a hot pan with ghee.
- Serve hot with grated Coconut and Sugar .
Notes
- Use raw or roasted rice flour as available.
- Use hot water to make the dough and use a wooden spoon to make the dough.
- Use a roti maker to flatten the dough balls if you have the equipment.
