Summer has been unbearable!! It's so hot, and this Summer has been unbearable!! It's so hot, and this week has been very long too. A few losses, people and my son's chess games. Chess games, he bounced back and won the last few rounds. The lost people has been the difficult part. Old memories and all.. but life must go on and the work never stops!! Work wise it was very busy too. 
Hoping it will get better.. a simple lunch plate I cooked for lunch after 6 days of packed and cold lunches.

Lang working days when there is no time for anythi Lang working days when there is no time for anything except for the basic dosai and a questionable side of nutella. Felt grateful randomly about my fridge... yes, totally random and really thankful it helped store the dosai batter made last Saturday!

And the drama happening in our state, hope all feel safe, content and does good to the people of TN.

Back from Goa vacation, this morning I made idli d Back from Goa vacation, this morning I made idli dosai batter as the first task 🙌 and made this delicious lunch with what was in my fridge and freezer. 
With the green peas and Moringa/drumstick from freezer, I made this yummy karakuzhambu. Then carrot and beans poriyal from slightly sad looking veggies I had in my fridge. Delicious nevertheless. 
And added some curd and papad, we are set for a WFH lunch. 
Taking a little break from work today in my lunch hour,  I plated this and took a pic. Looks so good although simple, after over 6 days of eating hotel buffets and fast food chains. Because we are not very adventurous and do not try anything unfamiliar, we had to choose carefully on what was available and what was not l and stuck with the hotel menu card mostly. Now this comforting lunch plate pic, I wanted to post on story as always, but thought it looked very good to not be in my feed. So here we are.. a lunch plate with -

Green peas Moringa Karakuzhambu 
Carrot Beans Poriyal
Papad
Curd

Yeast waffles, and these are just so good Crisp Yeast waffles, and these are just so good 

Crisp outside, soft inside and made with whole wheat — clean, wholesome and perfect for breakfast or brunch. I let the batter rest and it makes all the difference.

Served with syrup, honey, Nutella, strawberries, banana, nuts and seeds… honestly such a good spread 

You can make this overnight or in the morning, and they freeze really well too.
