Simple Air fried chips – Banana Chips in Air fryer

We love crispy snacks at home, and use chips as side dish for lunch or dinner too!! Simply crazy about chips, my husband buys them from local snack houses whenever he gets a chance.
I love making them at home too, just to have a healthier and homemade version with known, easily available ingredients. These simple Air fried chips are one such homemade recipe. Very very simple to make, try my banana chips recipe in air fryer. Steps below.
Banana Chips in Air fryer
- Preheat air fryer at 200°C for 5 minutes.
- Bring down to 180°C.
- Then added sliced banana soaked in salt and turmeric water in the fryer basket, with a little oil sprayed on top.
- Cook for 8 mins, shake and cook again for 5 mins.
- Finally increase temperature to 200°C again and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add more salt as needed.
- Enjoy.
Air fried Banana chips – simple crispy plantain chips
Equipment
- Air fryer
Ingredients
- 1 or 2 Green Plantain Nendran or any regular raw banana will work. Lightly peel and slice thinly using a mandoline slicer
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Salt More as needed
- 1 tsp Oil from a spray can will be great.
Instructions
