Simple Pan Sauteed Apples

While roasted apples are good and delicious, you need a recipe to get a similar tasting apples that can be made more quickly when you are out of time or didn’t want to use the oven. These simple pan sauteed apples are just perfect when you want to make soft spicy flavorful apples as toppings for your pancakes, waffles, or ice cream and what not!!

Made with basics of the ingredients, the quantity can be adjusted from 1 apple for a personal serve to up to 4 apples to serve for a family. Anything more than that, stick to your oven roasted apples recipe. Because sauteing too much apple again will be messy and take a lot of time. This recipe of simple pan sauteed apples is for those who have no time to roast apples in the oven, and want the delicious dish to be ready in a jiffy and want to do it on stove top comfortably only.

Simple Pan Sauteed Apples
Equipment
- Good pan – stoneware or cast iron pan
Ingredients
- 4 Apples Peeled, cored and thickly sliced
- 2 tsp Unsalted Butter
- 4 tsp Dark Brown Sugar Or Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger Optional
- 1/4 tsp Chai Spice Optional
Instructions
- In a large deep pan, add all the ingredients and stir to combine well.
- Let them cook for a few minuted until browned at the bottom.
- Carefully stir so the other side gets cooked.
- Serve warm with pancakes or waffles or with ice cream.
- Enjoy.
Notes
- Use Maple Syrup in place of sugar.
- Use any spice you like.
- Do in small quantities – halve or quarter the recipe for better sauteed apples.
