4 Ingredients Toffee Banana Tart with Dulce De Leche

Toffee Banana Tart, using Dulce De Leche. This tart is so easy, made with only 4 ingredients. I made my dulce de leche at home using the instant pot by pressure cooking the condensed milk tin for 45 minutes. It’s yum.

Recipe for the Toffee Banana tart is below:

Ingredients:
Puff Pastry Sheet – Readymade or Homemade : 1 Roll
Dulce De Leche – 1/2 Jar or more as you like
5 Small/medium banana – Split in half lengthwise
Ghee – To brush the banana and the puff pastry
:
Method:

  1. Roll the puff pastry and cut into a 10-inches circle.
  2. Leaving a 2cm border, make crisscross patterns using a knife in the center. Ensure you don’t cut, but just draw sharp patterns.
  3. Spread the ducle de leche in the centre leaving the border out.
  4. Arrange the split banana on top of the dulce de leche.
  5. Brush the banana tops and the border of the puff pastry with Ghee.
  6. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 to 35 minutes until the tart is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
