Homemade Spiced Plum Jam

Homemade Spiced Plum Jam

Simple homemade spiced plum jam – Plum season in the city here and I’m all about preserving fruits this year! Because working from home has given me a new view of how I was cooking and feeding my family previously. Nothing bad, but lots of store bought condiments isn’t good is it?!

Even a good quality jam brand has preservatives added – what preservatives?! So I decided to make my own Jam wherever possible and keep it handy. Lucky for me, living in a place like Chennai we get good quality fruits all around the year. So I can make small batch Jams and sauces and use, without loading up the freezer or fridge space. If you live in a place where the fruits come by only in specific months, I recommend you to double or triple the batch and store properly.

If you are interested in making jam and have a batch of fresh plums, this homemade spiced plum jam is for you. It is delicious, simple to make and tastes the best always.

  • Sugar – 1 Cup [About 110g – Divided as 3/4 and 1/4 cups]
