These are another perfect way to make use of the ripe old bananas you have in your pantry and uses only less number of pantry ingredients; Involves no creaming the sugar and butter, because we use olive oil in the recipe.

A simple warm chocolate-y banana muffins recipe to make use of your old bananas in the pantry or just a quick dessert if you are looking for one – One bowl Banana Nutella Muffins

Equipment

  • Food processor – optional, If not available use large bowl and hand whisk.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Large Super ripe banana Save few slices to place on top before baking.
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar Or Regular granulated sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 Cup Nutella Plus more for topping[Optional]
  • 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • If using food processor, add all ingredients in it and process until smooth.
  • If using a bowl, mash the bananas. Add ingredients in the above order and combine until you get a batter.
  • Divide the batter into lined muffin trays, or silicone moulds.
  • Place sliced banana on top of the batter.
  • Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 – 30 minutes until super golden and fully baked.
  • Serve warm with some nutella on top.
  • Enjoy.
