Harira || Hareera in Soup maker

Harira || Hareera in Soup maker

Harira or Hareera is a milk and nut based sweet drink. Typically done by soaking the nuts overnight, peeling them, make a paste out of them, extracting coconut milk, sauté the nut paste with ghee, add milk, coconut milk, sugar and serve. Will take over an hour.
But me being a lazy cook and all, I don’t do all the above. I use my soup maker from @morphyrichardsindia and get it all done under 30 minutes.
I don’t soak the nuts overnight, usually since the idea of making this drink is always impromptu. I use whole nuts with peels and all, since they say the peels are healthy too. Use fresh or canned coconut milk as per availability, add all ingredients in the soup maker, set the mode to smooth and relax. 24 minutes later a hot fragrant warming and nutrients packed healthy drink is ready.
