Recipe Shorts – Air Fryer Blueberry Breakfast Crisp. As simple as that it is quick to be made on a weekday morning in your air fryer or in oven also, if you have time. It helps that it is single serve, gluten free, vegan and packed with good nutrients.

INGREDIENTS  

  • 2 tbsp rolled whole oats
  • 1 tsp Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup blueberries

To serve

  • Thick Yogurt
  • Sliced Almonds

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • In a small ramekin or a baking dish, put all the blueberries
  • In a mixing bowl add the oats, maple syrup, coconut oil and the salt
  • Stir well
  • Spoon in the oat mixture on top of the blueberries and spread evenly
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes in air fryer or 15-18 minutes in a preheated oven until golden on top and the berries are bubbling
  • Slightly cool and serve with yogurt and almond slices

Notes

  1. Use any berries in place of blueberries
  2. Use honey if you cannot find maple syrup
  3. Don’t miss the salt. It is crucial in elevating the taste
  4. Top with fresh cream if you like in place of yogurt
  5. Add more fresh fruits to have a fulfilling breakfast if you like
  6. Double or triple the recipe as needed
