Vegan Chocolate Strawberry Cobbler
Love cobblers? Then you’ll definitely love this Vegan Chocolate Strawberry Cobbler a lot.
The benefits of making them in smaller dishes is that you will have your dessert for breakfast, lunch and snack sorted out! Ha Ha.. yeah, all the servings for yourself!!
This is how you make it:
Vegan Chocolate Strawberry Cobbler
Equipment
- 4 Ramekins
Ingredients
- For the Filling:
- Strawberries – 2 Cups[250g] Hulled and Sliced
- Castor Sugar – 4 tsp
- Strawberry Jam – 2 tsp
- Arrow Root Starch or Corn flour – 2 tsp
- For the topping
- All Purpose Flour – 1 Cup [110g]
- Castor Sugar – 4 tsp
- Cocoa Powder – 3tsp
- Baking Powder – 1 tsp
- Salt -1/2 tsp
- Coconut Oil – 3 tsp
- Milk of Choice – 2/3 Cup [75ml]
- To Serve
- Heavy Cream or Ice Cream
- Almond Flakes
- More Strawberries to serve
Instructions
- In a bowl add all the ingredients for the filling and mix.
- Divide them between 4 ramekins or one single baking dish as you like.
- Make the topping – Add the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and the cocoa powder. Stir well.
- Add the coconut oil and stir until crumbly.
- Add the milk and form a thick scoop-able batter.
- You should have 4 good amount of scoopfuls of batter. Divide between 4 ramekins or scoop on top of the filling on the baking dish.
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, adjust time as per your baking dish size.
- Serve warm with cream and almond slices on top.
