Ingredients
For the Filling:
Strawberries - 2 Cups[250g] Hulled and Sliced
Castor Sugar - 4 tsp
Strawberry Jam - 2 tsp
Arrow Root Starch or Corn flour - 2 tsp
For the topping
All Purpose Flour - 1 Cup [110g]
Castor Sugar - 4 tsp
Cocoa Powder - 3tsp
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Salt -1/2 tsp
Coconut Oil - 3 tsp
Milk of Choice - 2/3 Cup [75ml]
To Serve
Heavy Cream or Ice Cream
Almond Flakes
More Strawberries to serve
Instructions
In a bowl add all the ingredients for the filling and mix.
Divide them between 4 ramekins or one single baking dish as you like.
Make the topping - Add the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and the cocoa powder. Stir well.
Add the coconut oil and stir until crumbly.
Add the milk and form a thick scoop-able batter.
You should have 4 good amount of scoopfuls of batter. Divide between 4 ramekins or scoop on top of the filling on the baking dish.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, adjust time as per your baking dish size.
Serve warm with cream and almond slices on top.
