Mango Cashew Lassi – Sweet and spiced Lassi is one of the famous Indian yogurt based drink. Mostly made with thick yogurt, sugar and some cardamom pods. This recipe below is a more thick, more healthy version of it with cashews, mango and honey and no refined sugar.

It is so simple to make – you need a blender to make this drink so the mango pieces are blended to the yogurt. This is sweetened naturally, so perfect for breakfast too.

Mango Cashew Lassi – A traditional yogurt based sweet drink made of thick yogurt, Mango pieces and cashew- perfect for chilling in the summer.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of thick Yogurt

  • 4 teaspoons of Honey

  • 1/2 cup of Cashew

  • 3/4 cup of mango. Peeled and cut into cubes.

  • A pinch of salt

  • Cardamom – Seeds only. Remove and discard the pods.

Directions

  • In a blender Jar, Add the Cashews and the cardamom seeds. Blend until they are ground together.
  • Add the yogurt, mango, honey and salt.
  • Blend for 15-20 seconds.
  • Chill and serve with some sliced mango and mint leaves.
