Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Chocolate chip banana bread.. recipe post. With my son away visiting his grandparents and cousins for the last 5 days cooking and baking has been made like a task to do only when really needed or else manage with snacks and Leftovers. And with him being away I have had loads of bananas in the counter just looking at me, will you eat us or not!! I say, I’ll do one better, I’ll bake you!
And add in loads of Chocolate chips, I have the recipe for the best ever Chocolate chip banana bread.

Ingredients
Ripe Bananas – 3
Eggs – 2
White Sugar – 50g
Soft brown sugar – 50g
Vegetable Oil – 75ml
Vanilla Extract – 1tsp
All purpose flour – 220g
Baking powder- 1tsp
Baking Soda – 1/2tsp
Salt – 1/4tsp
Chocolate Chips – 100g
Method
1. In a mixing bowl or in your food processor bowl add the mashed banana,eggs, sugars, oil and vanilla. Combine well.
2. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and the salt. Combine until mixed.
3. Add the chocolate chips on to the batter and fold them in.
4. Pour the batter on to a lined loaf tin.
5. Add more chocolate chips as needed.
6. Bake for 55 minutes at 180°C
7. Cool on a rack and slice.
8. Enjoy
