But the tikka masala has smoky flavor thanks to the grilling of the marinated Paneer with spices and yogurt. It has a whole lot of grilled vegetables like onion and peppers to elevate the taste and the texture in the curry. So many steps and so rich, sometimes this curry is not suitable for all. But how about I say you can make a healthy-ish version of this curry, that too in your soup maker? Read on..

Here I want to tell you, there is no replacing the butter and cashew!! But you can reduce the amount here, since the soup maker cooks with little or less oil. The taste is not the same with the substitutes, although. Just use reduced amount. Another important thing you want to make this dish are KASOOR METHI – dried Fenugreek leaves. A crushed sprinkle of these leaves are the most flavorsome herb I have come across in Indian Cooking – better than any other fresh herb.
