Hey guys… I’m back with the most delicious, super simple single layer cake, that is perfect for small family celebrations in the most favorite flavor – Caramel. Recipe of my caramel cake with whipped caramel sauce is so very easy, perfect and above all very very delicious.

You can double or triple the recipe and make layer cakes with the same recipe. Every time perfect and the cake is so tasty!! I can’t get over how easy this cake is and looks so grand with no effort at all!!

Points to remember when you make the caramel cake with whipped caramel frosting

The cake is so basic – like a pound cake where you add equal quantities of eggs, sugar, butter and flour add your favorite flavor and bake. Oh yes, some baking powder and salt!! In place of flavor we are going to add caramel and make the cake a caramel cake!! Simple right??

And another important thing you have to remember is whisk the eggs and the sugar until super fluffy!! Determines your cake’s sponginess or fluffy factor. Use your stand mixer or hand mixer or give your arms a work out session and whip using a whisk.

And the caramel sauce used is totally your wish – if you can make your own good and well! If not, don’t worry. Use store bought! After all recipes are our own and we make do with what we have.

That said, for the cake use the caramel as it is and for topping, whip it!! Get that gorgeous creamy glaze like frosting with no effort at all. Yeah, thank me later.
