After an amazing weekend, and to get ready to go office I wanted to try…
Choco Chip Almond Cookies

Choco Chip Almond Cookies – Small Batch, Big Flavor! 🍪
There’s something magical about the aroma of freshly baked cookies filling the kitchen. These Choco Chip Almond Cookies are the perfect small-batch treat — I made just 6 beautiful cookies, and they were gone almost instantly! Golden on the edges, soft in the middle, and loaded with gooey chocolate chips and crunchy almond slices, they are everything a cookie should be.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Small Batch – Just enough to satisfy the craving without overindulging.
- Perfect Texture – Crisp edges with a melt-in-your-mouth center.
- Quick & Easy – From mixing bowl to oven in under 10 minutes!

- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp milk (or cream)
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds

Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and milk; mix until smooth.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold to form a soft dough.
- Stir in chocolate chips, keeping some aside for topping.
- Scoop dough into 6 equal portions, shape into balls, and place on the prepared tray.
- Flatten slightly, press extra chocolate chips and sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers look slightly soft.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the tray before enjoying warm with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee.
Tips for the Best Cookies
- Don’t overbake — they will continue to cook slightly after you take them out of the oven.
- For extra nuttiness, lightly toast the almonds before topping the cookies.
- Use dark chocolate chips if you prefer a richer flavor.

Serving Suggestion: These cookies pair beautifully with a creamy hot chocolate or a frothy cappuccino. Perfect for cozy evenings, rainy afternoons, or just because you deserve a treat!
