Chocolate Hazelnuts Bread

Decadent Chocolate Hazelnut Brioche Bread.

– 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 1/4 cup warm water
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup whole milk, lukewarm
– 3 large eggs
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
Filling:
– 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
– 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts, chopped
Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Brioche Dough:**
– In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
– In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, lukewarm milk, and eggs.
– Mix until a dough forms, then gradually incorporate the softened butter. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
2. **Rolling and Filling:**
– Roll out the brioche dough into a circle on a floured surface.
– Spread the chocolate hazelnut spread over three-quarters of the circle, leaving the remaining quarter without the filling.
– Sprinkle the chopped roasted hazelnuts over the chocolate hazelnut spread.
3. **Creating the Loaf:**
– Fold the dough into a long rectangle, covering the hazelnut spread and nuts.
– Carefully hand-roll the rectangle from one end to the other, forming a tight loaf.
4. **Proofing and Baking:**
– Place the rolled dough into a greased pullman loaf pan.
– Allow the dough to proof until it doubles in size, usually around 1-2 hours.
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
– Once proofed, bake the loaf in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
5. **Serve and Enjoy:**
