A super simple perfect breakfast recipe fit for February that is loaded with Strawberries, Jam and Cream cheese that can be prepared ahead and baked fresh & warm before serving - Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast Bake
Slather softened cream cheese on half of the bread slices and the strawberry jam in the remaining half of the slices
Sandwich them and cut in half
In a buttered baking dish, arrange the sliced sandwiches cut side up
In a mixing bowl or a large measuring jug, add the custard ingredients - milk, eggs, vanilla, sugar, cream cheese and the jam. Whisk well
Pour the custard over the sandwiched bread slices until fully covered. Let it stand for 30 minutes at least or overnight in the fridge until ready to bake
Arrange the sliced strawberries, tuck them in gaps between the sandwiches. Add the butter cubes and sprinkle the sugar all over the baking dish
Bake in a preheated oven of 200 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes until the top is gold and looks crunchy
Slightly cook until warm and serve with cream cheese or ice cream

Use half and half if you like to make it more rich in taste
Do not reduce the cream cheese quantity - very crucial
