A breakfast recipe made with pantry staples, seasonal berries perfect for festive holiday breakfast or brunches - White Chocolate Berry French Toast Bake
Spread your favorite berry jam on the bread slices and sprinkle each slice with about half of the grated white chocolate
Arrange on a baking dish
Make the creamy custard by whisking the heavy cream, milk, eggs, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt
Pour the custard over the arranged jam slathered bread slices
Arrange the butter sliced/grated on top of the bread slices
Rest it overnight in fridge or bake after ten minutes as per your convenience
Serve with a shower of icing sugar on top and cream and berries of choice
Notes
Use any berry jam you have - I used raspberry jam. Pairs well with white chocolate
Skip the butter step if you like - will taste the same, but well, butter makes everything better. So don't skip
Serve with more icing sugar and heavy cream
